The Aim
The ILP will provide a forum for colleagues to distil and share their wisdom in a manner that is open to discussion and development, releasing capacity in church leaders. We work with the Church of England’s vision to enable churches to have a flourishing CYPF ministry in every church (a church with a flourishing CYPF ministry is defined as having 25+ CYP (u16) Average Weekly Attendance (AWA) which represents a critical mass). We also note that there are many further characteristics of ‘flourishing CYPF ministry’, including:
an intentional focus on making active young missionary disciples;
high-quality, age-appropriate mission and ministry with 0-18s;
children in every age bracket;
welcome and engagement of parents; a culture of growth, evangelism and discipleship amongst CYPF;
developing and releasing young leaders and leaders of mission and ministry with CYPF.
Please note that attention to safeguarding policy and best practice will be woven throughout the course.
